Yoga in the Woods
Yoga in the Woods in Wendover
Wendover Woods | Saturday Mornings
Step away from the noise of the week and begin your weekend surrounded by nature.
These women-only outdoor yoga classes are a space to move, breathe, and reconnect — with yourself and the world around you.
Who are these classes for?
These classes are for all women — from teens to any age.
You don’t need to be flexible.
You don’t need experience.
You don’t need to be “fit enough.”
You simply need to arrive as you are.
Each session invites you to:
• tune into how you’re feeling that morning
• move your body gently and intuitively
• take time for yourself
• begin your weekend feeling more grounded, calm and connected
There’s something special about practicing in nature that a studio can’t quite replicate.
Outdoor yoga can support your wellbeing through:
• fresh air and natural light (hello vitamin D)
• a richer sensory experience — birdsong, breeze, changing light
• deeper relaxation and stress reduction
• a sense of space, freedom and perspective
• gentle strengthening as your body adapts to the natural ground beneath you
It’s not about perfection — it’s about presence.
Why practice yoga outdoors?
What happens if it rains?
This is the British outdoors — so while I can’t promise sunshine, I can promise a memorable experience.
Classes will run rain or shine, so please dress appropriately.
You may even find those cooler, misty mornings feel especially grounding and invigorating.
If conditions are unsafe (such as high winds or torrential rain), I will contact you in advance via phone/email.
In this case, you are warmly invited to attend any of our women’s yoga classes instead, at a time that suits you.
What to expect from class
Each 75-minute class is a blend of yoga styles, designed to support both body and mind:
• Hatha – steady, grounding movement
• Vinyasa – gentle flow linking breath and movement
• Yin – slower, deeper stretches
• Restorative – time to pause, soften and rest
The pace and energy of each class is influenced by the phase of the moon, with a different theme woven throughout.
Your woodland class follows the same thoughtful themes as our other women’s classes, bringing together:
• Core Play – building strength, especially through the core and pelvic floor
• Luna classes – aligning with the moon and your energy
• Chakra classes – exploring different energy centres and emotional themes
Every session ends with a deep, calming relaxation.
Your practice, your way
You are always invited to practice in a way that feels right for you.
You might choose to:
• focus on how your body feels
• connect breath with movement
• honour your energy levels
• explore the theme
• notice your thoughts
• or simply enjoy being outdoors
There is no right or wrong way to be here.
What do I need to bring?
Please bring:
• Your own yoga mat
• A ground sheet (recommended for under your mat)
• A blanket, coat or extra layer for relaxation
• Water
• Comfortable clothing with layers
You do not need an expensive mat — anything you already have is absolutely fine.

A gentle invitation
This isn’t about achieving the “perfect” yoga practice.
It’s about stepping outside, taking a breath, and giving yourself a moment that is just for you.
If that resonates, you are so welcome here.
